After returning from our longest bicycle tour in Europe, it was a time to relax and enjoy the moment. Our 37 days of bicycle journey opened a lot of hidden possibilities. It boosted our confidence to a whole new level. It dawned on us that there is nothing in this world that cannot be achieved.

    After settling down for a while, the dreams of our bicycle touring days started to resurface. Maithili & I started having interesting conversations about finding ways of doing long distance bicycle tours. We started talking about places that could be cherished while on bicycle. We started reading articles & watching travel videos of people around the world. That’s when we came across a YouTube channel named “Ryan Van Duzer​”. Ryan along with his girlfriend Ally rode across America on bicycle, collecting “Love Advices”. They started their journey from America’s Pacific coast and ended it at Atlantic coast. Ryan documented this beautiful journey on his YouTube channel with a title “Love Cycles”.

    This whole idea of cycling across America with variety of terrains and peddling 6000+ KMs got us on our toes. We looked at each other and we knew what was coming. “Thats it, we are doing this for sure” were our immediate words. We are planning this tour somewhere during April-May-June in one of upcoming years. We have already taken the first step, that is to share this with as many people as we can so that we cannot back off from it later. The idea of posting it here is I guess a part of this plan. We bought ourselves 2 brand new Trek hybrid bicycles and got them accessorized for touring abilities. We have started saving money and doing other necessary preparations. The clock is ticking and we are counting days.

Are we Crazy?      I guess we are!
