Day 1 : What an amazing day it was. We took a flight from Mumbai to Vienna via Frankfurt. At 3 am. Reached Vienna at 1.30. Immediately got our bicycles. We reassembled our bikes at the airport and started riding towards our apartment. We almost traveled all over Vienna searching for the address which took us to beautiful roads and finally got our beautiful apartment. Yeee.. feels like we have been staying here since long.. its hard to believe its our first international bike tour.

12th May2018
Day 2 :  Hi to all lovely people. Here is today’s quick update. It was lazy morning for us today. We all were up by 7. Had coffee specially made Avinash. Then we paddled in search of typical Austrian breakfast. Me and Lalita Deshpande opting for vegetarian food we had very little options. Avinash got his heavenly food on plate which he always dreamed of. We got served with so much love by the lady at the cafe. We enjoyed it. Then we paddled to the bike shop. Got our bikes checked by the expert for our travel. Did some sight seeing. Then had lunch at American restaurant. I must say which was amazing. Got our camping stove, gas, utensils etc stuff from local camping shop. Got fruits, eggs, bread, milk, some packed food from supermarket, which is going to be our today’s dinner and tomorrow’s breakfast..😎.. Looks like all set. Now we all are ready to get lost..😃😃

Day 3- (dream came true) : Today we were up by 7. Had breakfast with bean soup, bread, egg and coffee made by Avinash. Then got ready for the ride. It took us nearly 3 hours to find our way through busy city roads. While riding in the city we were amazed by the respect “cyclist ” and pedestrians get on road. We were happy to see that. Finally we made it to Eurovelo 6 route thanks to Google. The route was so beautiful that i don’t find words for it. You must come here and experience it yourself. I felt like Alice in wonderland. If its a dream then i just don’t want to wake up. We were so happy doing what we always dreamed of. It was dream come true. We treated ourselves at very fancy restaurant. The food was really delicious. Meaty and creamy. Just like me and Avinash watch it on “travel & living channel”. It was one elite class restaurant. Food is suppose to be the way it was I guess. We rode for nearly 50 km today and reached beautiful “Tulln” town. Pitched our tents. Felt so refreshing after hot shower. Had delicious food at the camping ground. I am happy that we are making memories.

Day 4 (Tulln town to Krems. 50 km) lost and found 😊  :  Today we decided to reach till Melk as per our itinerary. We had coffee and bread for the breakfast at the camping ground. Assembled our tents and started our journey for today towards Melk. The road was so scenic that each turn was jaw dropping beautiful. We went through woods, small little villages, and open green pastures. It was little ups and downs and breath taking views. The bicycle path runs just adjacent to Danube river so I guess you can imagine the beauty of it. Well.. it made us take photography breaks frequently. Some spots were so welcoming that we had to slow down to experience the beauty. We were so busy appreciating natures beauty that many times we lost our way and it took us close to many awesome places.. Yess..I do believe in god i just spell it nature. We met people who helped us out of their way to find the route. We treated ourselves at Italian restaurant named “Corleone”. Today’s experience was truly enriching. Our self made boundaries have enlarged now. World is truly beautiful.
